Copenhagen | April 25–27, 2025

From April 25th to 27th, participants from Cyprus, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Denmark came together in Copenhagen for an unforgettable weekend focused on tackling food waste through innovative and hands-on learning.
The workshop provided a practical journey into the world of sustainable cooking, equipping participants with the tools and knowledge to reduce food waste in their everyday lives.
The event kicked off with a theoretical session, where participants explored facts, data, and the global impact of food waste. They also learned effective strategies to extend food shelf life, minimise spoilage, and rethink portion sizes and consumption habits.
The second part of the workshop focused on hands-on cooking sessions, where participants got creative in the kitchen—learning to cook with often-discarded food parts and discovering innovative ways to use every bit of food.
We concluded the third day by sharing a delicious zero-waste group meal, proudly prepared by the participants themselves.
